Hi Mark,

If it's helpful, with the method above, there isn't any velcro stuck on the flash as such, the two pieces of velcro are stuck on the snoot offset from each other so that the velcro attaches to itself when wrapped around the flash head.

Kind regards,
David

Instead of velcroing your flash, you could get an elastic band (e.g. the same that keeps our male underwear around our waist), glue it together sop that it fits snug to your flash head(s) and stick the velcro on parts of the band. No more velcro on the flash, that once in a while gets lost or prevents from fitting other modifiers and it saves you from making bands on all of our items, flags etc.

I found my velcro at the fabric store, JoAnne's in USA. I buy the one called Half and Half. It has adhesive only on the "hook" part, the "loop" part has no adhesive and is actually meant to be sewn on. But I just stick about 2" of the hook part on the loop part and cut to lenght to wrap around what I need.

This is a great idea and thanks for sharing.

Hi,
It is not easy to find double sided velcro. Atleast not here in Norway. Could you give us the source for this, please? Product numbers will also help. The shelf liner is also of interest.

I think I can locate the double sided carpet tape.

greetings,

Nice one. I simply used velcro to secure it to the velcro already wrapped around my flash. It seems there is so much velcro on my flashes these days, I could stick the groom to it if necessary.
