I was invited to be one of the speakers at this year’s convention of the Digital Wedding Forum, which was held in Carefree, AZ. It was great to get to hang out for a few days with old friends, and also to make new friends. (A big thank you and hi-there! to everyone who came up to me to introduce themselves.)
My presentation was called: Just give me the f-stop.
There were 150+ people attending, and going by the feedback I received, it went over very well.
Apparently, I also summoned UFOs during my presentation!

[ thank you to Catherine H for the photo ]
Again, thanks to everyone who made it a great trip out … see you again next year. : )

Wow, sounds like a great talk Neil.
Perhaps you could talk at the SWPP convention next year in London?
This is a great subject and one that many people still struggle with. There was not talk along this line this year, so I’m sure it would be of great interest.

Neil,
It is great that you are getting invited to speak at more of these conventions. Your knowledge in flash photography is clearly resonating with more and more people.

Neil,
I attended your seminar at the DWF 09, and wanted to again say Thank You. I am one of those photographers who hate flash. Now I can say that I hated flash as I am no longer afraid of it :) Thank you for enlightening me (pun intended).
