As everyone can immediately see, a new website design has been rolled out that will include my wedding and portrait blog, and my galleries. I wanted to bring it all under one roof instead of having different websites all over.
There are still a few things that need to be touched up and polished. If you see anything that would need to be fixed with the new layout and design, please drop me an email at: neil@planetneil.com

Hi Neil,
I now find it quite hard to see at a glance where one person’s comment ends and the next begins especially on a section with a large amount of comments,
before the alternating background colours made is really easy to follow and see who had posted what and where, now (even with the side numbering) trying to find a comment made by someone is difficult, they all tend too blend in together.
What would you think to a nicer fixed background to replace the ‘X’ style colours, either that or Gaussian blur the ‘X’ so it is more subtle and doesn’t draw the eye away when reading the comment text?

Wow, just got blown away by the new layout.
I missed the news. I thought I already subscribed to you RSS Feed but that wasn’t the case. Did that right away then ;)
I like the simplicity of the new layout. Like always thanks for the good work and good that the flash photography techniques did not disappear…

One other thing… the flash loop of pictures on the home page at http://www.neilvn.com/ tries to skip to the next photo before the current one completes loading. My connection is T1 and should be plenty fast enough to handle it, but before picture A was loaded the app was already skipping to picture B.

Hi Neil,
Here’s another idea for your new look, err I mean website not a list of fashion tips! :-))
I notice some of the threads (with comments) can get quite long, what do you think about getting your web designer to add a [Back to top] button at the end of the page?
PS: I’ve heard cashmere looks classy all year round. :-D (just kidding about the fashion tip!)
