aaaah yes, my name tag did read ‘Scott’ the one day. The previous day the security at the entrance decided that they wouldn’t allow me to bring a hand-truck with boxes onto the exhibition floor this time. Too dangerous apparently. (The day before it was fine though.)

But if I were an exhibitor, I could. So as a way to by-pass their arbitrary new rule (which didn’t exist on the first day), I was given the name badge of one of the exhibitors. Hence, my name badge read ‘Scott’ for that day.

I’m glad you enjoyed the presentation and found it insightful. : )

Neil:

I was delighted to bump into your “lecture” at PhotoPlus NYC. My dad and I just sat down at the Unique stand (needed a rest) and didn’t know what was in store and know who the guy at the front (about to talk to us) was. Your badge read “Scott” and didn’t give many clues!

When you introduced yourself I quickly made the connections as I have browsed your website and found your flash tutorials informative and enlightening (excuse the pun) over the past months.

I was very pleased to have bought your book and have just finished reading it all the way through. I have invested $3 in black foam to make a snoot and am already applying the processes and concepts you taught.

In other words (apart from getting my Canon camera’s sensor cleaned), you were (for me) the highlight of the show.
