Post-Processing....like to hear from Neil
Hi Neil;
Great site...thanks so much for constantly sharing your wealth of knowledge w/ us!
I am a great admirer of your work and would like to know more about your workflow....
1. I love the colors you get. What do you use as your RAW converter? Do you use LR? ACR?
-the reason that I ask is that I really like the colors I get from Capture NX2 (Nikon), but don't like the clunkiness of the SW....have you ever used NX2?
2. Do you use any custom camera calibration profiles (i.e. Color Checker Passport)?
3. Can you give us some insight into what your workflow is?

Here is a blog article about his post-processing for portraits.

I tried NX2 and it was (in my experience) unusably slow for volume workflow.
Nope, I don't use a custom camera calibration.
This will give you an idea of my RAW defaults:

That's pretty much it. Then I adjust from there if I need to.
