AF technique for the processional
What is your preferred AF method when photographing the processional e.g. manual, single or continuous?
I find it difficult to get sharp images when using AF-S and just wondered how others approach this problem.

The AF is quite snappy.
This is where you have to balance two considerations ...
in AF-S mode, the AF assist of your flash will work - but if the camera doesn't acquire focus, then the shutter won't fire. (Unless you're using Back Button Focus.)
in AF-C mode, the AF assist of the flash won't work - but the camera will fire.
In low light, the AF assist from the flash is very useful.
Neil, do you use center point and recompose even with moving subjects? I find it extremely difficult.
