metering mode

Dear Mr Neil,
I humbly request your advise for this matter... As a very familiar person with the Nikon and
canon cameras, as you both used for wedding photography in particular, What you think about the
metering modes such as Matrix and Evaluative. My readings leads me to get more marks on Matrix
metering than the evaluative one. I would like to move from canon to nikon for
better human exposures. Would you agree with me? As usual, I am expecting your valuable advice.
