Welcome to the forum!
As an adjunct to the Tangents blog, the intention with this forum is to answer any questions, and allow a diverse discussion of topics related photography. With that, see it as an open invitation to just climb in and start threads and to respond to any threads.
post your photography work / gallery / website / portfolio
As an off-shoot from another thread here, I'm curious what everyone else's websites / portfolios look like.
Post them here.

Embarrassingly enough, I have been very slow in updating the galleries on my site .. until last night. The images up until now, have been what my previous web techie guy posted for me as placeholder images. So they never were up to scratch. I was just too busy to take care of the important stuff.
This isn't meant as a critique thread. Just show us what you're doing.
Anyhow .... here are my websites and blogs:

Would love some critique. Thanks for looking
Your wedding gallery (http://neilvn.com/galleries/weddings/), is that WordPress? If so, which theme are you using for it? I like it very much and would like to use something similar in my blog.
I am a rank amateur, something that took me a while to realize and it was a tough pill to swallow, but I try to keep shooting without letting my failures get me down. It takes a lot for me to post my work here since I prefer to lurk and read...it's just safer that way
Would hate to think what my photos would look like without having read Neil's
books and information here and on TANGENTS.
Looking forward to the long and hard road ahead...
Thanks Neil and regulars for the information you provide.

Shooooooooot, your stuff has got my photos beat! I wish I had more time to do more shooting so I could add more to my portfolio. Time for me is limited being in the military and all.
I take what I can get!

I looked at your wedding port and would say that you need to look at your framing. I see ears, arms, wrist, feet, etc cut off where there is no reason for it. While this is something that does not always interfere with a photos impact, there are several where it does. A few seem to be underexposed while others seem soft-either because of focus or a blur filter?
There are a few photos that don't load and other that are postage stamp size and they should not be there since they impact the presentation/flow of your photos.
Other than that, there are also genuine moments you have captured that come across as real and those work very well. With 20-30 minutes of editing you portfolio, you could improve the flow...
Hope that helps...

If you look around on the site, you'll note I'm going through some organizational growing pains. Not enough hours in the day.

The site name is still "The Art of Photos" but the url is http://photographybyrudyconrad.com
(Art of photos not because I think my photos are art but because photography is an art)
I do not like the small size of the landscape oriented photos compared to the portrait orientation but there is no way to fix that just yet...lack of right-click protection bothers me but I am looking at some code right now to fix that.
From mobile devices, the SERVICES tab does not offer the other two menus so that needs to be addressed.
Thoughts are welcome...are there too many photos? does the scrolling down detract from the "flow" of the site? I can do a left-to-right layout but then can't include any portrait orientation photos.

PS: website is through squarespace.com....easy to use layouts and design..drop and drag type of interface!
