I know many of you aren't much interested in HDR, but I just wanted to try my hand at it, here's a few examples, my first attempts: Comments.. I used Photomatix Pro 4. 6-8 images per HDR

I am not knocking yours with what I am saying, just stating what I like and what software I use.
and then more natural HDR, so to speak:
and the full HDR at default settings:

One of my faves from British Columbia.
None of those 4 pics in your post show up. Perhaps it's my work PC.
Must be mate, I can see them clearly. Do a Ctrl/F5 [not just a reload] which will rebuild the cache and load hopefully, sometimes that screws up blocking loading and a fresh cache rebuild for that particular page usually sorts it.
If not, close browser, then reopen, and clear cache through browser before going to sites.
Tools/Options/Advanced/Network TAB, click 'Clear Now'
Other browsers, don't know.
This is what shows:

Shall see if I can edit.
Still, you must have a problem if everyone else can see them.
So, clear the cache, and do a reboot, [if you feel like doing that at work] and see what happens.
Got an open window handy? :-(
Is the filename hyperlinked?
OR... since it's a work PC, your IT department may have linking to other sites like that blocked. Try a colleague's work PC, see if theirs' shows the same as your PC does.
file not Hyperlinked. just text with no Thumbnail
did you try another work PC? If that's the same, your IT has blocked third party linking inside posts I would imagine.
Probably that Trev, Thank you for trying. I'll wait til I get home in 7 hours!
As Ned Flanders would say: 'Oakely Dokely'
Here is the default setting
Painterly. As you see it enhances details that really show up in B&W after.
Here is an example of Painterly 4. If is a bit of a home made soup approach and I often can't repeat it as I don't record what I did. I has that box of chocolates appeal to it.
I then use this B&W software which is a PS plugin. I have been using it for years and a lot of new software has come out since but I like it as it simple and has filters etc.

Painterly 4 came out a bit too grainy for me. As you can see it looks much worse during the B&W2 conversion process than the actual image. That is why I experiment with different levels until I get the look I want.
So that is about it. Not much too it. There is a whole lot more you can experiment with using Photomatix but I usually just use the defaults. There is NR as well.
Some church during my travels.
