Payboo – B&H sales tax solution
B&H came up with an ingenious way to work with sales tax that now has to be collected by out-of-state retailers – Payboo. The US Supreme Court ruled a year ago that out-of-state retailers must collect sales tax on internet sales, and ever since then there has been that extra charge levied against all purchases online.
How B&H sidesteps this (legally) is by offering a credit card option where you get the sales tax refunded to your card.
No gimmicks. No rebate forms. No statement credit after the fact. Plain and simple…you are credited for your state’s sales tax before you pay.
Instead of using your Amex or Visa or MasterCard to make purchases, you can use your Payboo card to make the same purchases … and then get your sales tax refunded to your account.
Do keep in mind it is an APR of 30% which is really stiff. Still, this is a great way to save money on your photography purchases if you can pay off the full amount every month.
