I wanted to digitize my slides using my DSLR ans a macro lens so I needed a way to light the slides from behind with even, neutral light. The Lastolite did the job. The only negative is that the velcro attachments are a bit fiddly.
Amazing how well this little softbox works. Does a very good job of diffusing flash. It feels and looks that is made of quality materials. The only thing to keep in mind is that it blocks the flashes built in focusing beam that is used in low light. But other than that it works great!
