The Grid Kit for OCF Flash Heads from Profit gives you 3 different options to narrow to B2 and B1 Off Camera Flash Heads' beam width. The kit includes 10, 20 and 30 degree grids, a grid holder and a soft bag to hold it all. Ideal for isolating a subject while darkening a background, the grids have integrated gel clips and are also a good choice for use as a hair light or rim light. Part of a system, the stackable grids can also be used in conjunction with the OCF Barn door and Snoot.
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The best fitting grids in the business. After owning grids for flashes from 2 other companies I was pleasantly surprised by these. Buy them right away! They are amazing.
The workmanship is second to none. It fits snugly on my Profoto B1. Unlike the other reviewers' experience, mine came with the gel holder. The grids are metal so they shouldn't break or anything. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. It worked great for me as a full time professional shooting editorial and environmental portraits.
perfect but I give only 4 starts because you can not use umbrella on the profoto b2 head when you want to use the mount without grid for holding the CTO gels, so here Profoto should think how to fix it and make it possible to can use also for holding CTO gels when you want to use umbrella also
So I get that profoto is a premium brand and their lights are truly premium, so I've come to grips with paying enough for a decent car for a pair of b1s and a remote. These are something else though. Hey profoto. How about you reward your customers with something that isn't marked up times ten? As a function, they grid stuff. So do my 15 dollar grids for my speedlights and I honestly can't tell much of a difference in quality. Fair price on their ocf accessories would be about half of what they are charging. You aren't reinventing the wheel with a simple grid or barn door or gels (that you should have had forever ago). Rant over :). It's just that every time I buy an accessory for profoto I seriously consider selling the whole system out of spite.
