To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This works out great. When you use three speedlite flash heads you can either gain a greater depth of field when taking a photograph OR drop the power on each and have very short recycle times. Great for fidgeting subjects, animals or children. Small enough that it is no additional burden to carry for that "Just in case" situation
Just used this for the first time mounting 3 canon 600ex-rt speed lights in 43" octagonal softbox. Worked perfectly. The lights were snug in the cold shoes. Perfect. Feels well built. Lots of complaints about the competing brand. Very happy with this.
At first glance I thought this would work. However the screws to hold the flash in place are no long enough. So when you back them off to get the flash in...the springs fall out and I already lost one. The thumb screw that holds the unit to the flash does not hold it securely.
A bracket like this is actually hard to find. I needed a triple bracket that could accommodate three RP cubes, to put into a wescott Apollo orb. I needed the bracket with removable cold shoes and 3/4" threads to thread them in. And it's a reasonable price. Now I have a greater latitude for overpowering the sun, with high speed sync. I've only used it once, but it seems like it will hold up for regular use. I'm not going to use the umbrella adapter, because I have a sturdy Manrotto head for my light-stand.
