Here\u00a0I share many of the &#8220;aha!&#8221; moments which\u00a0took me years to completely\u00a0grasp &#8211; that at the heart of it, every aspect\u00a0of photographic lighting is dependent on understanding\u00a0the <em>direction and quality of light<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I do believe this book can make a difference to your photography.\u00a0I&#8217;m that confident about it.<\/p>\n<p>All the more amazing to see that 2 years later, this book is <strong>still<\/strong> bouncing up and down at (or near) the top slot on Amazon for Best Sellers in Photography Lighting.\u00a0When I took this screen capture today, it was in position #1, although\u00a0this list does fluctuate daily. It really feels good to see that the book is still popular. And it feels good to see that it is up there\u00a0with the best authors and photographers.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/recommends\/nvn-book3-direction-quality-light\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/images\/books\/NvN\/NvN-book3-announce.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"675\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Over\u00a0years of maintaining the Tangents blog, and doing numerous workshops and presentations, my &#8220;voice&#8221; has matured.\u00a0My photography has improved. With all that combined, I really believe the material in this book is very strong. Essential even.<\/p>\n<p>As I&#8217;ve told friends &#8211; I wish someone had told me everything that&#8217;s in this book, at a much earlier time in my development as a photographer.
