I wanted it to look bright and airy and summery.<\/p>\n<p>There was a studio flash behind her to (partially) create the flare. I had to keep adjusting my movement just so that the flash-head wouldn&#8217;t be entirely hidden, or entirely revealed.<\/p>\n<p>There was a total of four flashes used, and the pull-back shot shows their positioning.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/images\/models\/anelisa\/NV2_8998.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"980\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There was one\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/recommends\/profoto-d1-air-500-ws-studio-light\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Profoto D1 Air 500 Ws studio\u00a0light<\/a>\u00a0(<em>affiliate<\/em>)\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/recommends\/profoto-beauty-dish\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Profoto beauty dish<\/a>\u00a0(<i>affiliate<\/i>)\u00a0as the main light on Anelisa.<\/p>\n<p>The beauty dish\u00a0and light were mounted\u00a0on a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/recommends\/manfrotto-025bs-boom-008bu-stand-casters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Manfrotto 025BS boom w\/\u00a0008BU stand &amp; casters<\/a>\u00a0(<em>affiliate<\/em>)\u00a0which offers coaxial geared controls at the one end. So now it is \u00a0possible to adjust the positioning of the light such as the beauty dish in this case, without relying on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/behind-the-scenes-video-of-the-photo-session-with-ulorin-vex\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a tall model on high-heels to adjust your lights<\/a>\u00a0for you.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/recommends\/manfrotto-025bs-boom-008bu-stand-casters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/images\/BH\/Manfrotto-025BS-SuperBoom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There was a bare\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/recommends\/profoto-d1-air-500-ws-studio-light\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Profoto D1 Air 500 Ws Monolight<\/a>\u00a0(<em>affiliate<\/em>) behind her.
