His article on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/product-photography-innovative-budget-divers-chronograph\/\">innovative product photography on a budget \u2013 Diver\u2019s Chronograph<\/a>, was particularly impressive when you compare the results with the home setup.\u00a0You might also know Tilo from various impressive posts in the Strobist group on Facebook. Prolific and innovative.<\/p>\n<p>The subtitle of this book is the best description of what you&#8217;d find inside: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/193753846X\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=193753846X&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=planeneilphot-20&amp;linkId=G7YL5D3ZXDQ36TUC\">Great Lighting with Small Flashes: 40 Flash Workshops<\/a>. There are also side-bar articles and In-Depth notes within each Workshop chapter, where topics are discussed on their own. I highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to progress beyond the basics and stretch what they do. Also, one of the times I hung out with Tilo when he visited New York with a photographer friend, resulted in this post on Tangents:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/neilvn.com\/tangents\/available-light-white-balance-options\/\">using interesting available light &amp; white balance options<\/a>. I have to mention this for transparency. I know the author. Nice guy. And I am impressed with his work &#8230; which beautifully illustrates this book.
