recap: Boudoir photography workshop – Albany, NY (2015)<\/h1>\n

Teaming up with Genine Gullickson, one of the best boudoir photographers<\/a> I know, we\u00a0co-presented an all-day workshop in Feminine Portraiture and Boudoir Photography. The workshop was held in Genine’s studio in Schenectady, NY\u00a0on May 31st.<\/p>\n

We had two lovely modes, and two stylists who took care of make-up and hair styling.\u00a0We had a fun group of\u00a07 photographers who attended this workshop. Genine’s place\u00a0– Clique Studio – is a loft-styled studio\u00a0offering\u00a0a variety of backgrounds and settings. (This immediately made the images more interesting than would’ve been possible in\u00a0a studio with just paper backdrops.) I brought along a range of lighting gear\u00a0– continuous lighting and flash; soft lighting and\u00a0dramatic lighting.<\/p>\n

Everyone had\u00a0the opportunity to shoot\u00a0with the variety of lighting, and most importantly, had the\u00a0opportunity to work with the models and pose them.<\/p>\n

Thank you to our two models, as well as our stylists,\u00a0Erica Sherman<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Lauren France<\/a>, who worked\u00a0magic\u00a0with the looks loaned to us\u00a0from Boho Chic (clothing), and Torso Lingerie.<\/p>\n

Boudoir photography workshop description<\/h2>\n

With this workshop 2 experienced models will be available wearing a variety of clothing as well as lingerie for boudoir. Attendees will have the opportunity to apply posing and lighting techniques learned throughout the entire day. The workshop will be limited to 8\u00a0attendees.<\/p>\n

We will provide morning coffee and snacks, lunch, two models, two stylists, loft styled studio, and outdoor shooting spaces!<\/p>\n
