Conference photography : Rethink Summit, New York

This gallery is an example of the photographs taken during this 4-day conference, held in Manhattan, NYC. The event was organized by a UK based marketing company. As required, I photograph multiple angles of presenters on the stage – tight shots as well as wider shots, to provide a representative photographic recording of the conference. Because of the scale of the event, I had my regular second photographer there to help cover the trade show, and the break-out sessions in other rooms than the main stage. We also recorded short video clips that they would assemble afterwards for a 3-minute sizzle reel.

As always, I only use cameras that are completely silent so that I can be as unobtrusive as possible. The silent cameras also allow me to take multiple photographs in sequences, to be sure that I get flattering expressions when selecting the best images. I don’t use any flash during the presentations or meetings. No distracting flash!
