As part of a team creating material for a promotional video for the company that owns this refinery, I was tasked with producing time-lapse videos of various sections of the plant.

I had various cameras running at visually interesting (and accessible) areas of the plant, simultaneously covering the different sections we considered would work well in a video compilation.

For this section, the polypropylene refinery, I used a rotational device which allowed the camera to gradually rotate, giving a cinematic sweep.

The camera ran for 4 hours as day changed into night, and the lights came on. It looks quite dramatic … in an industrial way.
