For the formals (yes), or for the ceremony (no)?

With the exception of one church here, I can use any lighting but depending on the church, I normally just use on-camera bounced.

But there are a couple of churches very dark, so I put one light on stand, bare bulb pointing straight up and fairly high on my right hand side about 1/2 along the wall.

That way, if using it and I want to portrait mode when I shoot right hand over on top shutter button my on camera flash is in perfect orientation to take care of left hand side lighting.
