Wedding Photography Outdoor Portraits using flash

Hello, I'm trying to broaden my approach to shooting outdoor wedding images. I always use natural light with no flash. I do like the softness of the images, but I want to try adding a speed light to balance the ambient light and make the background pop - also to add a nice fill light to the subjects. Any advice for a wedding photographer. It has to be quick and easy. I find setting up soft boxes and carting them around to time consuming and kills my creativity. Something quick, lightweight and can be done with one photographer. thank you for any tips!
